Manajemen Konflik Dalam Rumah Tangga

Abstract

Domestic conflict is a common phenomenon that can have a significant impact on marital relationships ang family dynamics. This study aims to understand domestic conflict, including its causes, impacts, and effective resolution strategies. This research employs a qualitative method through in depth interviews with married couples and literature analysis to comprehend the dynamics of dimestic conflict. The results show that domestik conflict can be caused by various factors, including personality traits egoism, miscomunication, personal preferences, financial issues, biological relationships, cultutal differences, lack of attention, communication styles, third party interference (parents, in laws, friends, neighbors), comparing lives with others, heredity, and inappropriate language use, among others. The impact of domestik conflict can lead to a decline in marital quality, even resulting in divorce. This study also identifies effective strategies for resolving domestik conflict, such as maintaining and improving communication, mutual understanding, apreciation through praise or others means, uilizing family time effectively, ang showing attention through small gestures, ultimately creating harmony. The implications of this research can serve as a reference for developing premarital education  programs or family counseling to hep couples understand ang manage domestic conflict
