Abstract

In order to guarantee and improve the quality of national education in a gradual, planned and measurable manner in accordance with the mandate of law number 20 of 2003 concerning the national education system, the government conducts accreditation to assess the feasibility of educational programmes and/or units. in this regard, the government has established the National Accreditation Board for Schools/Madrasahs (BAN-S/M) with the regulation of the Minister of Education Number 29 of 2005. The main objective of quality assurance is to minimise the occurrence of errors in production by streamlining every step taken, paying attention to every resource used, and every aspect involved in the production process is evaluated continuously to prevent errors. If an error occurs, it is immediately corrected so that losses can be avoided. In addition to the implementation of continuous evaluation, improvements must also be made on an ongoing basis. This kind of application in quality management has an impact on the products produced, due to continuous and strict supervision.
