Analisis Strategi Inovasi Dalam Meningkatkan Kualitasasuransi Syariah Guna Menghadapi Perekonomian Global

Abstract

Indonesia's Islamic financial condition is in 10th position in the world, still far below Middle Eastern and Islamic countries. The capital that Indonesia has as the country with the largest Muslim population in the world has not been properly optimized. Apart from that, Indonesia's economic problems are also greatly influenced by world economic activities. Not to mention, currently world problems are increasingly complex after the outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic. If this continues, it will slow down the country's economic growth and the Indonesian economy will weaken further. There are at least 3 main problems that sharia insurance must face in Indonesia, namely the weakening of the global economy, the decline in sharia financial inclusion, and the decline in trust in insurance. This research discusses the prospects for sharia insurance in Indonesia and what strategies must be implemented to improve quality to face the global economy. The method used in this research is literature study. The results of the analysis show that the main innovation strategy that will be implemented by the Indonesian government is synergy with financial institutions, educational institutions and regulators; development of sharia insurance for the entire community; and product diversification and sharia social security market deepening.
